Hi Troop 565 Boys and Families -
Welcome to the newest scouts to join our troop!
We have the Knights of Columbus Corporate Communion breakfast this Sunday, March 7 at 9:30 am at St. John the Baptist Church, 4th and Collyer, in the basement "Martin Hall". The focus will be the 100th year of Scouting in America. All scouts and adults in uniform are welcome to attend. If families want to attend, the Knights just need a head count. You can let me know. There is no cost for the breakfast, they do take donations.
The Knights are a Troop sponsor, please attend this breakfast if you can.
- Boys need to be there at 9:30. The event goes until about 11:30.
- Boys are needed to help serve breakfast and clean up. Boys get service hours for their time there!
- Boys to do an opening and closing flag ceremony.
- All Eagle Scouts from T565 are asked to give a 1-2 minute talk about their Eagle Scout projects
- We plan to have a "campout setup" at the event, a tent, stove setup, camplight, lashed tripod, etc. in view
- We will have a display table for Scouting items (See what you have, bring them along for display!)
- Guest speaker for the event will be Reed Brannon, Longs Peak Council Chief Executive
