Treasurer’s report
·The troop earned $344.00 profit from the popcorn
sale.
oScout
accounts to be updated with individual earnings and statement to be
distributed.
Camping
·Troop needs to decide on Summer Camp 2009.Location and 2-deep leadership need to be
worked out ASAP as reservations need to be made.
oDiscuss at next troop meeting
·Boys would like to camp in January to start
preparing for Klondike.
oCamp Tahosa has a cabin available the weekend of
Jan. 3-4. We need to present the dates and gauge interest.
·Klondike 2009 - One patrol will participate with
their sled and the other patrol would like to host a city. Approval for a city
will be needed.
oApproval for a city has been received. The
patrol needs to decide by Dec. 15th what activity the city will host.
Religious Activities
Ad Altare Dei was presented at a troop meeting
in October.The troop needs to
decide if they want to run their own version or get into a program already
being offered.Need to talk to
troop and find out and get volunteers if needed.Some scouts have already expressed
interest.
oDoesn’t
seem to be enough interest. Put on hold.
Recruiting
·We will continue to invite Pack 65 to our troop
events; next up is the Troop meeting at the Rec. Center on Dec. 18..
Fundraising
Popcorn is just about
complete.Final numbers will be
available in December
Advancements & Merit Badges
Greg completed running his
Eagle Project with the help of many troop volunteers and adults. He also
had his Scoutmaster’s Conference. Now he is working on his project report
and preparing for his Board of Review. Go Greg!
